Rogan is a 4 century old art started in the Kutch district of Gujurat, India.In the late 20th century, Rogan art nearly died out and was only being practiced by few artisan families. More recently, Rogan has had a resurrgance due to the innovations by artists like Rizwan, who incorporate these traditional works into modern uses like clothes, table cloths, pillows, etc.
